What matters

DNSSEC adds cryptographic validation to DNS responses so resolvers can verify that signed DNS data has not been altered in transit. It strengthens authenticity of DNS information, but it does not encrypt DNS traffic, secure a vulnerable website, replace TLS or prevent every domain-related attack.
