Registration periods depend on the extension. Many international extensions can be registered for one or more years, while some extensions, such as .gr, use different registration periods.

An EPP or AuthInfo code is an authorisation code used when transferring a domain from one registrar to another. It is normally provided by the current registrar.

Yes. Changing registrar for a .gr domain requires the domain authorisation code. The registrar change does not by itself alter the domain assignment period.

Yes. Most international extensions require an EPP/AuthInfo code. The domain must also be eligible for transfer under the rules that apply to that extension.

Yes. A transfer authorisation code is required for a .eu domain transfer and can normally be obtained from the current registrar.

The process after expiration varies by extension. Some domains have a grace period or restoration period before becoming available for registration again. We recommend renewing domains before expiry.

Yes. You can change the domain nameservers through the intraweb.host client area, subject to the capabilities of the specific extension.

No. A domain can be registered and managed independently of where your website is hosted.

Yes. You do not need to transfer the domain. You can simply configure the appropriate nameservers or DNS records to use it with your hosting service.
