Email is part of the business identity
An address such as name@company.example connects everyday communication with the same identity customers see on the website. It is easier to recognise and does not make the business dependent on a staff member’s personal mailbox.
Control becomes important when people change
Employees join and leave, roles move and suppliers change. With mailboxes on the company domain, addresses can be created, redirected or retired without changing the public identity of the business.
Professional does not mean automatically deliverable
Using your own domain is only the beginning. SPF, DKIM, DMARC, sensible sending practices and secure accounts still matter. The real advantage is that the business owns the identity and can manage it deliberately.
